RE: 4X4 FG? 6X6
I feel like I'm revisiting a CLODBUSTER forum from the late 1980's early 90's .. LOL.....
Cool work. I'm sure you will have to add some lattice frame to the top of it to link it to the chassis to eleminate any kind of flex, and add another truck bed to the body to make it "complete". Nice mods though :) |
RE: 4X4 FG? 6X6
extend the roll cage. it looks like it would be fairly easy

RE: 4X4 FG? 6X6
That 8 wheel looks stupid but I love the 6x6 idea. You guys make great use of existing parts for this mod. Impressive. You could even use hollow rods with threads on the ends to make a brace between the rear shock towers. I Just might try the same thing. Keep us updated on your progress.

RE: 4X4 FG? 6X6
The 8x8 is incredible with four wheel steering on the front end and two engines. The drivetrain should hold up better because there is not a master and slave diff. Both diffs on the 8x8 are being driven independently by their own engine. Its a shame they didn't come up with a cool body shell for that thing.
Both projects are very cool. |
