RE: lookn for a tuned pipe
If you have the stock motor the FG pipe will not fit, if you are still running the stock motor you will have to find a techno kit tuned pipe.

RE: lookn for a tuned pipe
where do they sell Technokit in the USA

RE: lookn for a tuned pipe
I put an older secondhand Mielke pipe for an FG on road on my XRC, needed to notch out a bit of plastic (really easy) for the header to fit but it sits in there. Makes a bit of difference but still not a patch on a zenoah, to be honest all it did was make me wanna upgrade the engine to match my pipe now. [:o]

RE: lookn for a tuned pipe
does the stock motor have a different bolt spacing than a ZENOAH OR A CY???

RE: lookn for a tuned pipe
I have had a CY and a Zenoah in my XRC the bolt in fine. I had to trim some plastic in the engine shroud to clear the mount behind clutch. The GP 290 CY motor is about $200 at large scale rc .com and it has enough ponies to shatter the diff had to upgrade mine right away. I have a stainless header and a seperate tune pipe on mine it hauls need better handling now XRC shocks are junk. mine is a RC2 offroad but the drivetrain is same as onroad.
