Hormann HT2 type RA

I have at last finished my HT2 Race Evolution. There was a delay in getting the Hitec servos and then some vitial parts I needed to get.

here she is all clean and very shiny!

The HT2 type RA decals are made in Carbon Fibre effect backed onto refelective vinyl.

Next thing is to get her going.

That is one beautiful buggy! The body shell shape and paint job are very sharp. Does the Horman not include a rollcage or did you just not install it?

I have heard a lot of complaints about the FG alloy suspension arms. The Horman arms look very sturdy. Does the Horman hold up to bashing better than FG?

Last question...If you don't mind answering, how much do you have invested in the buggy?

Ken

Hi, Hormann's do not come with a roll cage like FG's do.

The cars are very strong, but that does not mean they won't brake. Anything will brake.

The car, hotmann HT2 Race starts at £1700 GBP plus I wanted the wider rear wheel/tires, they where £50 extra. Then the servos priced at around £56 each (give or take). I already had the radio Futuba 3PK and batteries. You do the maths.

Thanks on the comment about the paint job. I pinched the idea from the Spyker F1 cars - I hope they will let me off :D

The Ht2 is are very solid car. So easy to drive.;)

OMG! I did do the math and the US dollar conversion - that would be about $4000!

I have seen images of little rubber things on the brake bleed nipples, but I have no idea where you get such things from?

That is sexy machine! Im diggin the ease of the servo arms being right in your face instead of the up side sown steering servo on FG's. Looks really easy to work on and access everything.

Beautiful machine, but I don't understand the whole no rollcage thing. What if you roll it?

RE: Hormann HT2 type RA

The body and the huge spoiler take's the hit. I drive the Ht1/ht2 over a year now and made some very heavy flips and rollovers, but never damaged the engine, elektronics or anything.
This concept works :D

Fraid not. I still need to tweak my servos and the throttle linkage, bleed the brakes. Tomorrow I am going to Chesterfield for a car mater.
