Fast Lane Extended Arm Set for HPI Baja

Does anyone have this kit installed on their Baja? I just purchased one and was wondering if they're any good.

My only concern is with the dog-bones/drive shafts. However, they do carry a 100% guarantee.

I'll be using this kit with a reed ported/modified Zenoah 27.2cc with reed kit and WT813 carb. I can't imagine this motor set-up will bend or break the shafts?

What do you guys think? All opinions welcomed :)

On the other baja forum there are several people that have purchased them and I think for the most part are happy, although there seem to be a few minor issues with some parts needing slight modification, but nothing a Dremel can't fix up real quick. There have been a few issues with being able to contact FLM for support, ad I have not heard if these issues have been resolved or not.

I do know that FLM has an outstanding reputation with many of their other product lines.

the longer they are they tend to shear/break the dogbone. get the darksoul dogbone which can replace the pin when shear occur

The DarkSoul dog bones are not long enough for this kit. The kit extends one inch on each side (2 inches overall).

The Phat Dad and DarkSoul modified dog bones are stock length only. I already have the Phat Dad dog bones installed (they're great!), but I have no choice but to replace them with the pair in the FLM extended arm set.

I guess I should worry about it when I get the complete TS motor; in this case I would switch back to stock length arms with PhatDad dog bones.

What do you guys think?

i like the gas cap on the black baja , thats what i need on mine , i struggle to undo my alloy gas cap all the time , do they sell gas caps already like that ? or should i weld a piece on mine to look like that one .
and its good to see those new DDM side mount long pipes getting use lol , i took mine off to put on the ddm rear pipe , i love the sound of it , but i still like the look of the side mount , i really wish DDM made a sidemount version without the silencer , which is proberly one of the reasons why i took it off in the first place .
