New pic's of the windows I made myself out of scrap polycarbonate. I used spray window tint to darken them up a bit and angle drilled holes in the front for air flow. I think I'm done for now until Christmas passes then a new pipe, paddles and other goodies are on my list. L8r

Sweet looking ride! With all that optional alum, I would be too afraid to even run it; I wouldnt want to scratch it all up.

As for teh font windshield, I unfortunately cannot see it too well. Can you take a closer up pic of your custom windshield? I want to see the air flow holes you cut into it.

The alloy on top just keeps me on my toes for rollovers. its gonna happen eventually but I still try to keep it rubber side down. Heres a close up of the vent holes. the front window is hinged on one side like the side windows so its easier to get to the charger etc...

Ahh! Very nice! You have very steady and precise hands to drill the holes in such a precise pattern.

Very sweet looking indeed

Thanks...it didn't start out like that but ended up not too bad. Thought I was gonna have to cut a new one half way into it. The tint was tricky too, it doesn't go on like paint, really finicky. At the low price of already made windows I caught myself wondering why I was attempting it, but it was fun. That's what the winter is for I guess.

I have a Rovan Baja 5B as well, wanted to know whether worth adding windshield to front and side. It almost seem like restricting your ability to access carb if you need to tune. Do they all swing out on the side windshield.

Here's a pic of mine setup.http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/atta...mentid=2197888

Sweet, sweet, sweet. About to start taking mines apart for a deep cleaning. Also going to start ordering some new goodies for it.
