"Spy Pics" What could this be ??

I got this from Largescalerc, spy pics of a 1/5 scale. What could it be ???

http://i955.photobucket.com/albums/a...G_7676Copy.jpg

I suspect it's a 4wd model

http://i955.photobucket.com/albums/a...G_7675Copy.jpg

Could it be a EVO 4 Edition of a MCD Baja 1000 ?

Here below is a MCD EVO 3 Baja - the pics of the 2 Rc's are kinda, sorta the same. I could be wrong but I think the spy photo Rc is a MCD EVO 4 Baja 1000.

Next week, should know what this new 1/5 scale model is.

Considering it was posted by LargescaleRC on HBF, who is the American MCD dealer. Its a no brainer IMO.

new HSP buggy...only thing about this one is it actually says in the blurb...light duty buggy[&:] that doesn't inspire much confidence.....however I've seen pics with the shell off and it's layout is pretty good...time will tell how it holds up on a track

the new MCD body under all that tape looks just like the nutech sandstorm body

I sold one of my rampages to a friend, still have the obr 35cc tt and the xtm gassers but this 1/5 brushless is pretty cool, if it proves a good vehicle i'll have one.

def not a prius, yuk! but would be nice around the house or more populated running area, the no noise thing has it's place... just not all the time. i want one. :)

or at 3am in my yard :D
I run with a few other guys, so there is PLENTY of noise for me.
When I first saw the thread on HBF I thought LargescaleRC had picked up Nutech as well. Hehe
It does look like the Sandstorm.

I know their gonna say thats a truck but as for scale it reminds me of the stadium cars from the 70&80's imo.

RE: RE:

too bad LargeScaleRC would not tell what that truck was last weekend like the said they were so i'm sayin it's a toss up between the mcd and i was hoping to find out what it was but now i really just don't care. i'll stick with my redcat xt it's holding up very well.

Here is what it is.

http://www.largescalerc.com/MCDV4SC5...urseTruck.aspx

This is the MCD V4 SC5 Short Course Truck. MCD Performance is second to none offering the best in all these areas: Shaft driven 4X4 system, superior suspension with Big Bore shocks, perfect weight distribution, and high quality components. MCD offers only the best in the upper end of radio controlled vehicles.

Just recieved this email myself today. The SC5 looks to be an exciting edition to the MCD family of rc's.

looker2756 08-20-2010 12:22 PM

RE: RE:

This is a LargeScaleRC exclusive, & not available through MCD the company. We have got many responses already & it seems to be a big hit.

Thanks

RE:

What makes it different?

looker2756 08-20-2010 02:10 PM

RE: RE:

The body is the obvious difference. With the V4 Baja1000 not available & MCD working on a new Cheetah, we figured the Baja1000 enthusiasts would be looking for an option. This is where the SC5 come from. Not to mention that Short Course R/C is sweeping the nation, but it is, & this model would be a huge success in 1/5 scale short course racing.
