A hangman's knot for the ends and if you have to do a mid line splice a bloodknot. These styles of knot put the least strain on the highly loaded fold in the line and the incoming leg that takes all the load does not have to loop around itself or anything else until it's into and out of the ring So it maintains the most strength in the line. Also they tie up nice and neat looking.

Well my coworker gave me a extra book he had for fishing ties, I'm learning these knots now and a hangmans knot is in there, but a blood knot was not,,happy holloween by the way,,,,,Was also told barnes and noble sells a knott book with string, with every knot you can think of for around 8 bucks,,Seems ridiculas not to be a knot guru, or was in the boyscouts.....And what you have to learn, to sail planes,,,,Thats part of the excitment,,,for it hasn't been boring...

Google Bloodknot, lots of good diagrams. I tried to cut, and paste one with no success.
I bet you love your AVA as much as I love mine. My personal best duration of 94min was achieved with mine.

The blood knot is a good one.
Your going to love that AVA. Still learning what mine will do.
Getting better at finding light thermals with it.
