RE: SOMETHING NEW FROM SOARING USA
No flight vid?
It's funny how sailplane model design has moved away from the big wings and short fuselage style of the 70's and 80's and more towards the long tail moment with small tail surfaces that have been used by FAI free flight designs for the past many years. This lastest design really made my eyebrows go up at the sight of the long tail and smaller surfaces compared to the size of the wing. If not for the lack of dihedral and a wing pylon this could be right at home in a world competition with an FAI .15 glow engine on a shortened nose.
