Default Worldwide Slope-Finder

Hey there

we have created a new world-wide Tool for all Slope-Soaring-Enthusiasts! It will give you the ability to:

-find slopes near you
-show wind-forecasts
-show weather-forecasts
-add/edit entries

It's also available as a mobile-app, just call the same link on your iPhone/Android-Mobile-Phone...

Try it out:

[link=http://www.slople.com]www.slople.com[/link]

We will soon have a solution for everyone thining in "miles" to switch units, too.

Thanks & please spread the word!

Very interesting. It picked out a site near me, but the directions are all in german, Ithink.

If I could get it to send me the link Iwould check it out. The site shown is in the middle of woods, so the suggested site must be near that point.

I did find a rubbish heap I knew about.. the rest were 300+ km away... not much sloping in FL . What is left off are the various smaller slopes around though not sure how you would figure those out. For example Panama City Beach has some very nice dunes on certain sections of the beach coming in at 50+ ft high that work real well, but again to far for me. Found them on vacation couple years ago.

Nice. Where did you get the info for the sites? I went through and made some updates to the sites in my area.

Same here. The names of the sites on slople.com in my area are the names that I have given them (not many pilots in Cody, WY). I'm really curious how the database was compiled.
