Default Just moved to the beach and need advice...

I am going to get a new glider for flying at the beach and need advise. I have never slope glided but I want to give it a try. I have flown on and off for 15 years. I would like something with about 45" span. I can build it or get an ARF. Any suggestions on what plane and radio to go with would be appreciated.

Thank you!

Head over to rcgroups.com and post this in the slope forum. Theres heaps of options, and a lot of Cal residents to help out.

How much wind are you dealing with? If it is light, under 10 knots, a gentle lady is a blast. I fly mine on the slope in light lift and thermals, and fly it inverted at times too. It rolls, slow, but it does it. If it is higher wind and good lift, there are a lot of them. The Ninja is fun, there are a lot of new glass birds that are great. Use the link above and see what people in your area are flying too.
