Rowing SP-22 Merlin Questions
Hi to all :I am looking for information on a Rowing SP-22 Merlin a 3.4 m slope glider from the early 80's
This is a predicessor to modern molded sailplanes, with fiberglass construction with hollow fiberglass wings in a Vtail configeration.
I am looking for some details concerning set up details, the Vtail retention and finishing the aillerons,c/g ect as I currently have no documentation or manual for this plane .
I would be very thankfull for information and experience with this plane
Mike

RE: Rowing SP-22 Merlin Questions
Hi Mike,
Roland Sommer is the designer & producer of Rowing models. He relocated to Taiwan and now produces the Concept Xtreme, 1 of 3 DLGs that Joe Wurts used to win the F3K world championship in Sweden this year.
You can find his email address on his website: http://www.hkm-taiwan.com.tw/
If you don't have any success you can post a message in the most popular German forum [link=http://www.rc-network.de]RC-Network[/link] or ask me to do this for you in german.
Good luck,
Martin

RE: Rowing SP-22 Merlin Questions
Hey Guy's :Just a update to start 2012.
I did send a email to the designer/producer of my Merlin sailplane requesting setup information,He has replied and will send me what he can find.
I think that this is Pretty cool !
How many other's are there out that would take time to answer a email of a product they produced 25+years ago, much less when they are currently involved with producing world class/world champion DGL sailplanes today.
World Class for sure !
Please take a second to check out Rowing Models web site { http://www.hkm-taiwan.com.tw/ } they are worthy of your consideration !
