Default Adding aileron and spoilers to a dynaflight butterfly

butterfly is on its way. I plan on adding spoilers to the inner wing panel and ailerons to the outer wind panels.
Should I take half or all of the deheidrel out of the outer panel? Leaving it in the center joint?

That's a bad idea. Add spoilers , OK, but flatting the wing and adding ailerons really a bad idea. Fly it the way it was designed, you'll love it.

Agreed, I'll save the ailerons for the appropriate plane. I will add spoilers as we have a smaller field to land in...

I'm with Soarrich - the spoilers are a great idea but ailerons, on a Butterfly, are a really bad idea. My BF was built in the early 1980's, with trike gear and a OS 26FS four-stroke (in her early days she carried a camera & air sampling equipment on each side of the fuse). On landings, to this day, you can see the prop turning (idle's THAT far down) and she still wants to take half the county to actually touch down in. Wish spoilers were on her to shorten that glide but not going to do it now (maybe).

(Pics - final approach, showing the trike gear, low-slow pass-over)
