Graphite 2E cooling
Anybody with a Graphite 2E used the 2 cooling holes?
If so how did you get the air out?
I have only seen one photo where the holes have been opened up but no photos showing
where the air gets out.

Franny,
Yes, I use them. Air gets out naturally through the tail and ailerons and flaps cooling down not just the fuse but the wing servos as well.
I also use the hyperspinner with a hole in a center which adds to the motor cooling.
check my thread:

I will give it a go.
My setup is a bit over the top which is probably why it's getting `warm'.
Hacker B50-8S on 4 cells.
140A with 16x13 & 200A with 16x16 thin.
I am using the lower rating setup, this still gives a vertical climb and more of them.

Franny,
I am just curious, what kind of flying do you do on your power setup? Graphite would never be found in the air in 15 seconds if you give it a full throttle
This is my latest flight from Yesterday, as you can see - it does not go vertical all the way but has plenty of power on B40-S 4.4:1 gearbox:

Motor run is about 4-5secs. It gets plenty high enough for my eyesight in that time.
I also use an old F5B model on 2 cells as a hotliner. This has a 3sec climb.
For more relaxed flying I have a Blaster 2E
Pete
Ps Nice vid.
