Anyone used a quad motors on gliders like Supra etc.?
I am re-powering my Graphite 2E and started wondering around searching for the options on the Internet.
First option was Neu 1107 2Y Air Series. Then I stumbled on one of a Quad motors on Hobby King:

there are more similar to the one above.
I will be using 4S power pack and 529W is a bit overkill. 2700kv is what I need (something around 3000kv) for my home built 3:1 gearbox:
The reason I need a gearbox is to have a through shaft support for the nose mounted camera.
Any input on a motor choice will be greatly appreciated, i.e. Yes/No/Are your Crazy..
