Default electric motors pings and cannot seem to bind

I have a Turnigy 2836-8 motor that I am installing on a glider,
I have 1800 zippy battery attached to a 40A ESC, connected a motor which is connected to the propeller and to the receive, and reay to bindr
The whole set up worked the day before but know refuses to bind and the motor just beeps!.

Does that ring a bell?

I have 6DXI transmitter. I followed the binding process and it will not bind, yet yesterday it worked.! I tried it with an AXI 2214 motor, and the same happens.

any help in solving my error would be appreciated, HENK

Hi,
Binding the DX6i to a Spektrum receiver has nothing to do with what motor or esc is connected to it.
You may have left the binding plug plugged into the receiver.

Make sure the ESC is connected to the receiver's throttle port.
Make sure the bind plug is plugged into the receiver's bind port.
Plug in the battery to the ESC and the LED on the receiver should be blinking fast.
Hold the binding switch and turn on the transmitter keeping it about 3' away from the receiver.
The led on the receiver should stop flashing and turn on solid.
Remove the bind plug from the receiver.

It sounds like you have the controller in setup mode. Bind the system by using a battery and not the BEC of the speed control and then troubleshoot the ESC. Most likely the throttle is reversed and has put the ESC into setup made.
