Electric Sailplane Suggestions-Filip 600
I currently have a 2 meter Dynaflite Daydream that is fun(pictured), but I have not mastered thermal flying. I want a powered sailplane that has ailerons and can thermal. Hobby-Lobby sells the Pelikan Filip 600 ARTF (http://www.hobby-lobby.com/filip600.htm). I have not seen many revies for this plane. Does anybody have any other suggestions or knows about this plane?

EZone has a review of the Filip in their archive (http://www.ezonemag.com)
I fly the Filip too. Very nice plane, excellent workmanship. It thermals well and has a decent speed range. There are some changes during construction you need to do. See my webpage for details:

It flies super with a AXI 2820/10 (you can use one of the new 2814/12 too) and 8 1300mah cells. Even better with a 3S3P TP 1500HD LiPoly battery. You can stay up all day with that one and I suck at finding thermals

I don't know jack about brushless except that they are expensive and very light and powerfull. How do you think this ship would fly with the geared Speed 500 that Hobby Lobby recommends? They say "We are getting climbs of 1100fpm at 25 deg. angle." I only ask this because a brushless is out of my price range.
