"Icarus" by Larry Jolly info needed
Hello:
I am new to gliders and have an opportunity to purchase a 2 meter sailplane kit.
It is a Larry Jolly "Icarus".
It has a "V" tail. Probably not a good beginner glider, however it sure is a nice looking ship.
The kit is as new in the box. I believe it is from 1979 or so (at least that is what I was told).
The gentleman selling it wants me to make him an offer. Does anyone here know what a fair price would be?
Or any other information about the glider.
Thank you very much.
Cheers,
Randy

I had 5 or 6 of these in the early 80s....It is a great flying, easy to build, light model..I see no reason why a beginner would have any/much trouble building or flying it...
Price?? Probably $50 or $60 would be fair on todays market...May be a little higher if the owner deems it a collectors item..My 2 cents..Brian
