Building a Sig Riser 100, any quirks?
I finished my first rc model, a Gentle Lady (res) a few weeks ago. I've flown it, wrecked it, repaired it and flown again (about 50 launches all told). I just purchased my second kit, a Sig Riser 100. I have a couple of questions if anyone can advise.
Are there any quirks with the riser 100? With the GL, I found out through this site and other locations that there are some mis-givings in the wing strength, and a few other things that certainly would have resulted in a damaged plane during hard landings (controlled crashes). Are there any of these with the riser 100. Also, has anyone put ailerons on this plane, did you take out any of the di-polyhedrals?
Thanks,
kwmtrubrit

a floater (turbulated airfoil)
add a little more tip dihedral (more responsive to rudder)
reinforce fuse behind trailing edge
i had one - it flew fine

Also building Riser 100. I started with wing first and found that none of the plywood ribs 1A and 1B are marked, after studying plans I figured it out, the ones with the dimple close to trailing edge are 1A, also the dihedral and polyhedral gauges are not labeled you must use book to determine which is which and mark before cutting out otherwise it seems to going together great.
