Plane suitable for piggyback ?
I have a 71" high wing plane powered by a .75 glow engine. I want to know what size glider can be strapped on for a lift up yonder.
I also need ideas on how to make the jig that will hold the glider and the release mechanism.
Sorry, but I do not know the correct terms used for this 'piggyback' type of operation. All help appreciated.
Regards,
Craig.

ollie's right - if it can climb at half throttle, than I would figure any glider with a wingspan anywhere from 1.5 times the plane's wingspan up to 2 times the plane's wingspan ought to work. Gliders/Sailplanes are minimal drag for maximum lift, so they pretty much lift themselves in a piggyback type operation.
