Default help with molded plane design

Hello, I am building a 60" glass sailplane. I have already finished the wing (RG15) and fuselage. I have a question about the angle of attack I should mount the wing and v-tail assemblies at. I am thinking one degree for the wing and 0 on the tail. Does this seem accurate? I was also wondering what you suggest for hinges on the ailerons. I would like a "live" style hinge. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks, Ryan

Default RE: help with molded plane design

Is this your own design? Otherwise what do the plans show?

Mind you if this is an original design and your stabilizer is on the small side and/or depending on the airfoil's pitching moment then you may need more incidence to compensate for these factors in conjunction with a more forward CG.

But at a guess I suspect it'll work decently. You may have to live with a little up trim in the elevator but with a performance tuned rearward CG I suspect it'll be close to right.
