Hi all,

Great Planes cannot seam to answer me, so why not go to the best source. You!!

Does the RTF version of the Spirit SELECT have built in spoilers or not? I know they are covered over in the ARF version and disabled, but in looking at one RTF recently, for the life of me, I could not see where the spoiler panels were covered over. Short of cutting open the kids wing to look, I can't tell. Does anyone have this plane, and can you confirm this definitively.

It is confusing because the tech notes on this model give you a spoiler throw, but dont say " preinstalled spoilers" like the ARF notes do. Reading this forum, people have said they have enabled them in this model.

That is the Spirit that comes with the radio right? I would tend to think they are there and that the Select and ARF came off the same assembly line. If you felt around on the top side of the wing, just behind the spar, 13" from the root, you should feel them if they are there.

I have to admit I have been there alot. There glider forum is much more active than the same forum here.

My feeling is this is the serious forum for Plankers. RunRyder is the serious forum for the rotor heads and RCGroups is where the glider pilots hang out.
