Default Can i use micro rx in 2m sailplane?

Does a micro receiver have the range for a 2m thermal sailplane?

It depends on the reciever. Many do and many don't. Hitec 555s electrons ect are just fine. A hitec Feather would be a no go as it's range is only 1000 max. 2m can easily exceed 1000' by a factor of 3 (if your eyes are good).

Look at the range specs on your receiver. Pretty much anything designed as a "park flyer" product is range limited and should be avoided. Park flyer stuff is usually under 1000' range where standard recievers are well over 1 mile.

Micro 555 and Electron 6 are perfect for 2M plane if space is tight. 1 mile+ range.

That is what I use in my 2M, 3M, and slope gliders.
