Top
I have one of these gliders. I got it when someone crashed it on their maiden flight. The wing was broken in half but the reast was OK. So I fixed cause the price was right................Free![8D]
I am using the Mabuchi 550 that was with it and the prop that came with it also. I have a GWS 20amp speed control and HiTec 555 reciever. I use KAN 1050 batteries 8cell @ 9.6volts. Excuse me Top not the prop that came with it, the prop is Graupener 8x4.5.
One thing Top I lightned the heck out of the fuselage with a Dremel tool. Lightning holes all over it. If I remember right I took about 6oz. out of it. Uhh that would be I think about 170 grams. I also recovered it with Ultracoat it had originaly sticky back covering not heat shrink. That also cut out about three oz. (85grams) . That stick on covering is heavy stuff, lose it.
It flys good and i get three to four very high altitude climbs from this set up.
