Default Power for pusher configured glider

Good day to all. I am a new member here, and would like to post a quizative question to those that know more then me. I recently came across a Jamara Easy Riser electric glider. It is 100 in. in wingspan and will weigh approx. 74 oz, at flying weight. The instructions call for a Speed 500 on gear erduction to swing a 12X8 folder on 7 cells nicad power. My question is this: What would the power, motor, gear drive, no gear drive combination be to power this thing at a resonable rate? I am looking for strong climb performance to altitude, prefer brushless application powered by li-po a still drive a 12X 8, 12X6 prop. Any suggestions would be helpful as this plane has plenty of room to pack it in or not. Looking to keep the weight down and still get good performance. May also adapt this bird to a camera ship as another endevor later. Thanks in advance for the help.
