Branco, I have no experience with the system, yet .
I have an Elicker unit, which I will install in my Multiplex ASH 26, but I don't think that the prop tips will be wearing out on the stopper, the stopper being made of rubber.
As to why the only use CAM carbon props, I don't know the answer to that either .

The stopper only comes into play at the very last and by that time the prop is turning very slowly. It is simply to align the prop.
You have to see the system in operation to fully appreciate it.

DG800 + Elicker
Hello!
Before I finally (just had to finish some other projects first) start to install my Elicker up & go in my DG800 (THE DG800, built by Vagenknecht), I thought I might take a look at the www, to see if I can get some information . . .
And guess what I found!
A whole thread covering the subject!
(Even Gary is there! Remember me? )
Have to study the whole thread first thoroughly, but then I might have some questions for you . . .
