Default Biplane Sailplane

Was reading through an old magazine the other day about some of the festivities that went on during the National Air Races in the early 1930's.

Was a mention that someone was showing off the capabilities of a biplane sailplane for a couple years, before the events got going. It isn't too specific but in late 1930's the same was kitted or had plan made up for a model. Would assume that it was simple hand launched glider. Don't know anything about it as to who, what span, what name or anything else.

However, article mentioned that in very late 1940's it was brought out again, but with a radio (single channel).

Any idea as to what this could have been?

Default RE: Biplane Sailplane

In the 1932 Flying and Glider manual there is an article on the two place Heath "Super Soarer" glider. Don't know aabout a model.
