Hi all, The name of the sailplane is a Stork 3M its a T- tail. does any one know who made this plane or where i can get a fiberglass wing brace for it, as mine has a crack in it?? also i am in need of some screws that hold the horizontal stab on. I lost one and cant seem to find a new one any where.
Pics are included! oh this might help: I got this plane at the NATS in 2001.

That is not fiberglass. It's carbon fiber. Replace it with a seamless steel tube the same diameter, length and bend. 1/16" wall is OK if you don't zoom it otherwise get 3/32" wall. Carbon fiber joiners tend to crack.

Need an image of the fasteners. Most likely metric. As may be the carbon fiber wing joiner.

Look in the yellow pages for steel suppliers and start calling around. May be metric. If that is the case an oversize imperial (inches) tube turned down and bent would work. Most large hardware stores have a metric fastener selection.

Hummmmmm i still cant figure out who made this stork 3m. I know when the plane was available for sale it was about $900 or so. I am really interested if any one else might know who made this plane...

Thanks for your help socalglider i was able to get a wing brace made at a metal shop for $15
not a bad price for something stronger than carbon fiber!!
