Ximango powered glider
Boy, did I find a great subject for a scale, powered glider!
The Ximango AMT-200, just check out the pictures!
I'm surprised there's not an electric RTF on the market.
I cant find drawings or decent 3-views, anybody seen these?
You can bet mine will have that P-51 style retractable landing gear!

RE: Ximango powered glider
Ximango is a Brazilian powered glider, and I been flowing whit one, I mean a big one, few years ago.
I dont think is a good idea make a model of it, it's glide ratio is poor, and a model will be very complicated to build.
The real Ximango (Brazilian hawk) is all fiberglass, and the landing gear is the big problem, only because is too week.
So no hard landings!

RE: Ximango powered glider
Hello. I am an RC'er but a glider CFI in real life and bought a Ximango new a few years ago.
Here is a training video I made which will give you an idea of the physics.
I think it would be a good RC subject. If you need info just reply.
