Winch Supplies
After my experience with Soaring Stuff, I'm now looking for a supplier of winch line and misc. supplies such as rings, swivels, etc. Anyone out there have someone that they can recommend?
Also, what's the general opinion re: relative strengths for the winch and retriever line? We'll be launching everything from light 2m sailplanes up to a Sharon 3.9 and perhaps even a scale model or two over fairly rough pasture.
Thanks in advance for the help!

I suggest Memphis Net and Twine. See: http://www.memphisnet.net/
Their Stock No. TWB Braided Nylon in Size 24, has a breaking strength of 250 pounds and a one pound roll is 720 feet long. You can get welded ring at your local hardware store. Ball bearing swivels are sold in fishing tackle outlets.

I agree with Ollie's recommendation about the 250# line. Be aware that this line is awfully heavy for a light weight 2-meter to pull up. It will work fine, but is really optimized for the heavier planes. We use the 250# test line at my field. Launched 3 or 4 2-meters off of it yesterday.
