Default Hi Flite Models Two-Speed Ford Longshaft Winch ??

I noticed this item on eBay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1

It's a "Hi Flite Models 2 Speed Sailplane winch". It looks like a typical Ford longshaft motor.

Does anyone know how they got the two speeds?

I asked the seller. His reply was: "There is a foot pedal that you step on and activates the two speeds."

Uses a two position foot pedal switch and balast resistors. Intended to be easy on the then fairly breakable RC sailplanes of the late 70's.

Your link does not work. Do you have the item number?
