Default New P-51 Canterbury Sloper

Here is my new Canterbury Sailplanes P-51 EPP slope sailplane. I am anxious to give her a good flying trial if the wind ever cooperates.

This is in the paint scheme of the real P-51 "American Beauty"

Just thought I'd share.....

Cool, nice looking plane. I'm also in the Inland Empire. I typically don't start slope soaring until late March or early April when the winds are more consistent. I the mean time, I fly power planes and build slope planes

Default Inland Empire sloping

I try to go fly almost every afternoon. I go to the La Sierra slope for W wind and Lake Hills for E/NE.

Today was rockin' at Lake Hills. I flew my Eraser and F20 Tigershark, there was a ton of lift ! No reason to wait until Spring.
