Windstar EP-- Upgrade
Does anyone have recommendations for upgrading this glider.
To a Brushless motor + ESC and Lipo battery.
I plan this winter to recover (Monokote), make some cut out
holes in the fuse ,these to things will make it lighter.
I would like to have extra power if I need it also.
I fly Glow Planes, and I'm new to the EP world.
Thanks.....

That plane is very similar to planes discussed in this thread. You should get some good ideas here:

RE: Windstar EP-- Upgrade
I wasn't too happy about the take off performance with the stock motor, electrify ESC, and 1500 ma pack. It seems the wing loading is too high. So am modifing for glow power with a SIG power pod and a Cox 049 engine. I have used this alot in years past with my Gentle Lady with great sucess. I am also modifing the nose with a removable balsa piece that replaces the plastic cowling. [:@]
