RE: dodgson lovesong to electric
I bought a Camano that had been electricuted, seemed like a horrorible thing to do to such a fine sailplane.
The owner had put flat packs in the wings and drilled a million holes in the nose for ventilation I guess.
It has a nose block again and I am working on getting a set of cores to replace the pocketed ones.
With the right setup it would work but your wing loading is going to go up.

I would seem to think the Lovesong wouldn't have a problem with the extra wing loading. I'm sure with the right package you could have a real nice arrangement.

RE: dodgson lovesong to electric
my new field does,t have room for a winch or high start. it's this or let them rot in the rafters. i don't see a lot of weight gain. i had a 1300 nicad sub c plus lead in the nose to ballence. a motor, bec and a lipo will not kill me.just enough battery for one good climb. now, what motor is going to be the question.
