Small hill sloper???
I was thinking of a quick building electric sloper for some Elec gear I have. CD rom motor for 2 or 3 cell lipo is what I have. it was on a 20 " more or less fan fold blu p51. I was thinking a light fan fold zagi type would make a cool mini power sloper. I live in SW Mo. and we have tons of small hills. Also I drive a LOT for work and spoted some nice slopes on hwy 76 E. of Ava, Mo. I'll keep looking there has to a lot of good spots here. I will keep 'em marked in my map book that has coordinates.

The Dreamflight Alula is about the best durable light lift sloper around. Another choice might be the Dreamflight Weasle.
If you can deal with non-bounceable construction, the older generation handlaunches (i.e. "javelin" hand lauches) would be perfect for conversion to electric. I have a D&J Monarch C that I'm thinking about converting to a light brushless setup. ArtHobby also makes some planes that would be a good call.

RE: Small hill sloper???
I have an Alula and other EPP gliders because of the rocky area where I fly but I'd rather have a Fling or other nice glass ship. I agree.....get rid of the heavy motor and battery. I started with the idea that I could power fly the glider back if the wind died but soon realised how silly that idea was. If the wind dies....just glide it home. I haven't ever had to walk very far to retreive one.
Also, Windrider is bringing out an all EPP Fox, a good looking little glider....

I looked at the Alula and I think that fills the spot I had in mind as it is rocky around here too. It looks tough and seems to do well in light to medium lift. Should be a lot of fun getting back to gliders. I hope to at least observe at Wilson lake this spring maybe fly
