BIRD OF TIME
I'm in the process of building a BOT, I am currently ready to start the vertical stab and I have yet to
find any good instructions on how to go about building it. Can anyone help? Thanks

RE: BIRD OF TIME
If the kit uses a solid rudder you may want to switch and make it built up. Less nose weight needed that way.
Hinging is a tricky topic. In my own case I probably went overboard by adding side cuffs of 1/64 ply and making the leading edge of the rudder 1/2 round with a wire hinge at the arc's center and extended pins with holes for the hinge wire to run in. The outcome is a hinge line that has a 1/64 inch gap that stays consistent as the rudder moves. No big gaping >< hinge line.

RE: BIRD OF TIME
I'm building a buit up rudder and I haven't decided on which hinging method to use yet.
Your hinging method really sounds good I would like to see a picture of that.
