I am the very proud owner of a very lightly used Nyx XLT. Came to me with two fuselages, even. Just a smidge of tree bark, sap, and broken balsa to touch up. A little polish, some cyano, and she'll be good as new! One of the tail feathers is still perfect! I will be maidening her soon-ish. More to come!

If any of those gliders would like to join in some TD competition, and you are within driving distance of Long Island, NY, we are hosting an Eastern Soaring League contest at the Long Island Silent Flyers field on Long Island. On your GPS you can put in Southwoods Road, Syosset, NY 11791. The contest is in the Stillwell Woods Park.
We have 39 Registered Pilots ( room for about 10 more )
This is for unlimited sailplane - Typically Easy Gliders to Xtremes, Avas to Sky Birds, Spirits to Supras and anything else you can winch launch. We fly Expert, Sportsman and Novice class, so you are grouped with pilots of your current talent level.
And, for a change, the weather forecast is good.
www.flyesl.com if you are interested in registering
www.lisf.org for info about the location.

ORIGINAL: scaflock
Well it's all covered up but having to wait to install the radio gear thanks to a bad servo that required the attention of Hitecs service dept. It should be back Monday or Tuesday so I can install the gear after that.

My DG-1000 that I added a 550 motor too. I didn't want to put a hook in the bottom of the fuse so I went to the motor. Has enough power, nowto fly it.
