"Bird" type sailplane designs?
Hi guys,
I have done some simple searches here on RCU to no avail, so I apologize in advance if this is a well known topic.
I am interested in sailplane designs that mimic living birds. I remember seeing one years ago that had some sophisticated control system with the "feathers" on the wingtips (very fascinating, not sure how effective!), and I am just trying to learn more about what is out there.
Thanks in advance for any feedback you can provide to a "very" amateur slope guy,
