Default maidened the tug

Well the thermal taxi flew well indeed
Weather was finally good enough for a first flight today. Can't wait to carry up some gliders!
Os 91 FX on a Telemaster 2000 with a Ben Diss tow release and a piggyback cradle. Heavy duty everything. Lg is a Halco rated up to 14 pounds. Carbon fiber push rods that come out the aft end to within 1 inch of the control horns. Heavy duty horns on the servos. Old school Dubro low bounce wheels. No control horns or antenae on the top to interfere with the tow line. 1100 Mah 6 volt flight pack.
Has more vertical than any Telemaster should have! But still flys as slow as molases in the winter when needed. Individual aileron servos on full span ailerons and I added a little balsa to the rudder ( 1/2") for good control with a glider on board.
It needs a little more elevator throw and I was wrong when I assumed the bearings were ok when I did a rebuild on the 91 FX. Ordered some new bearings this evening. They were flyable but a little rough sounding.

That looks fantastic. Please post the details of your glider carrier.

Can't wait to seem some photos of some glider launches.

Hi Ed, I will get launch pics as soon as we do some. I'll post the cradle pics separately.
