Default RE: slope soaring off buildings

I have slope soared off a lot of thing. Everything from buildings, overpasses, haystacks, tree groves, parked semi trucks, just about everything creates lift on a good windy day. I used to soar them using a handlaunch wing. But I think a good light weight DLG would be sweet as well. I would recommend the plane be pretty crash resistent. There is a lot of trial and err involved.

Yeah
One really awful day at the thermal field, where every lauch was basically landing practice, I caught a breeze against the field fence and ran the sucker all the way to the end.

I've looked for buildings that have a clear path downwind, but they're hard to find. Not too many tall parking garages or buildings exist at the edge of towns.
