Default A new magazine is born: AUFWIND English

The German AUFWIND magazine has been a top publication for many years with useful reviews, excellent event coverage, technical articles written to be readable and understandable, building articles ranging from simple wood to complex molding, and much more. Internatinally well known for its profession in gliders and electric airplanes.

Finally, this magazine is available with a separate English translation, which is accurate, yet readable and entertaining. Have a look at the website: www.aufwind-magazine.net. Under Downloads, you can get a teaser-sample of three translations and their corresponding German articles. Subscriptions will start with the 1/2010 issue, but if you subscribe by October 15, you get issue 6/2009 for free (there are six issues per year).

Interesting topics that will feature in the upcoming issue:

- Aerobatic Monster: “MDM-1 Fox” in 1:2 Scale by Paritech
- Attractively Versatile: “Kadett 2400” by Graupner; an electric-powered tug and all-purpose model
- Retroplane 2009: Vintage Gliders over Ireland!
- The 16-Year Project: A Scratch-Built “Grunau Baby IIb”
- F3B-WC 2009 from the Austrian perspective: Germany wins ahead of Switzerland and Austria
- Made in Germany: Kontronik Celebrates its 15th Anniversary
- High-Tech from Swabia: The 2.4 GHz System by Weatronic

And many more…

AUFWIND 6/2009 comes out on 26 October.

Order your subscription now! You can also order the single issue for 12,- Euros. Send an email to [email protected].

Delivery time of the magazines!

Hi,

I haven't expected that delivering the magazines could be a problem. I sent out the first issue to all subscribers on 23 October. The European subscribers received it ten days later, the overseas subscribers haven't got them until today. It's incredible!

It seems that the normal postal service is much to slowly! It has been the reason for me to look for a ultimate change:

I'm glad to tell you that I fixed a cooperation today with the agency who sends out the German AUFWIND-magazine since many years. The cooperation means, that the agency will send out the AUFWIND-magazines including the english translation too.

That will be secure that the delivery times will be the same like they have been with the German issue alone.

Bye

PHILIPP
