Default Advice needed on excessive wiring.

Hi all,

I am building a 2 ch epp glider, & want to keep the wiring to a minimum.

Basically I have a Futaba radio, 2x servo`s, 1x Nicad, 1x receiver, & a harness switch which has a cable attached for recharging the Nicad.

Is possible for me to just connect the nicad to the receiver when I am ready to fly, & manage without this harness switch cable, as I am struggling for room.

Many thanks,

Ian.

You can do that, but it can be a bit of work to plug and unplug. A little more elegant solution is to plug the battery into an aileron extension, it takes up less room but is easier to connect.

Good tip rcsoar, Using a short extension will keep from stressing the pin connection at the receiver. and allow alittle room to stick your fingers in.

Hi again,

Thanks rcsoar4fun & skeeter, that seems to be the perfect fix, & saves me wearing out the reciever connections.

Thanks again.

Ian UK.
