Default My first towing

Hi friends,

I want to share some pics about my first towing experience.
My glider is a Fly Fly dg 1000 with 2 mods: tow release and retractable landing gear.

my radio setup: futaba 9c + tm8 fasst & r617

Everything went well
I love this hobby because it has soo many different kind of flights that you cannot be bored!

Congrats on the successful aerotowing. It's a blast, isn't it! A quick note about dihedral(or the lack of it)I assume the DG1000 is a CMPro or Flyfly or whatever they are calling the company. Why do they insist on manufacturing the sailplane without any dihedral(or even a bit anhedral[X(]) Same with the Lanier Husky. The wing is flat as a pancake. Both the full size 1000 and A1B have a fair amount of dihedral. Anyway, some of life's many questions..

Good call on the Husky id, most people think it's a cub.

The sailplane is a CMPro Ventus. Not the best flyer in the world but its fun to tow.

Nothing "scale" under 2.8 meters performes very well in thermals. On the slope is another story! As for the Husky, I have spent quite a bit of time in the full size.
