Like lots of the early 70's slope guys I built all the Planks, Gryphons etc and now wish to revisit that era as I have had enough of the latest Zagthingys, so...

I used to use the Eppler 184 section back in those days as it has a reflexed TE that worked well.

Anyone have any comments on a current favorite section?

Thanks Rich,

It superficially looks like Martin Hepperle's MH45/60 series so worth a try. I originally was going to CNC foam it but think I'll enjoy balsa bashing again.

Now, where is the Ambroid? LOL

[color=#3300CC]Got in a few hours of building over the holidays, a few images to show....

Hopefully it'll be finished before the end of the month and the favourable slope winds head West for the long hot Summer months ahead.
Wing joiner is 2m/m 6061 with 3m/m ply facing each side to make it fit the spar width. Rear joiner is 4m/m carbon.

Rough fuse and framed up wings. 1.5 m/m ply facing on all end ribs to be added before finish sanding.
Balsa ailerons will be 50m/[img][/img]m wide

i had years ago bob martin katie 2 and a coyote wish i had them still they flew great anybody still have these kits might be interested in buying one or the other.
