Default folding prop vs solid prop size.

I have an outrunner that works well on a 13x6 solid prop. The motor is being considered for a hotliner glider. Can I use this same prop size in a folding prop?

Thanks,
Alex.

Default RE: folding prop vs solid prop size.

Propably.
But of course you do measure everything using a Wattmeter.

My experience, considering the fixed prop is an APC-E;
compared to an Aeronaut it will be close to equal, and compared to Graupner the Graupner give less load.

And of course, if you choose a HUB for the folder above the 30mm size the values do change. More load for the folders.
