Please identify this glider
Please help me identify the bottom glider in this picture. (Not the "Oh Sheet" one. The cream and brown one with the truss framework for a fuselage.) It was posted in another forum by a member who won't respond to my several e-mails and PMs.
Many thanks,
Harvey

RE: Please identify this glider
Possibly the SG-38, SchulgLeiter or a rendition there of.
Primary Gliders, Profile Style planes. I was inquiring about one a long time ago. As this one has the Pod in front- it would be an SG -38 from the information I obtained.
Search "Primary Gliders / SchulgLeiter" thread.
Edit - And go here on Youtube. Great Stuff - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lm6-ox32tHQ
Hope this helps

Primary glider of some kind. http://www.ronsandsreplicas.com/Prim...ider_Plans.htm for real plans. They taught a bunch of German kids how to fly before WWII.

RE: Please identify this glider
Hey guys, I really appreciate your telling me that the glider in the picture "looks like a model of a _____ " but what I'm really looking to find out is if it's from a kit.
I'm normally a power-plane kinda guy but this particular glider caught my eye.
Thanks,
Harvey

Where did you get the original picture from? If the builder did not or will not contact you for what ever reason, some one that knows him should know what it is.

It came from another thread here on RCU. I have not named him because my intent is not to embarrass him.
