Default How to set up DX9 mode 1 for flight modes

HI.
sorry if this has been covered before, but I couldnt find it. I'm setting up a new Pulsar 2008 electric glider using a new DSX9 2.4ghz transmitter.

I've gotten a couple of manuals off the net and I'm struggling in a big way here.

This plane has only 1 centre flap and the receiver i'm using is the Spektrum AR6250 6 channel receiver.

The manuals tell you what channel to plug the servos into, however if you only use 1 flap servo, they dont tell you which channel to plug it into...

On the rx, the GEAR position seems to be linked to the throttle stick and the Aux1 position doesnt seem to do anything...

so if i plug my ESC into the GEAR position on the RX, then my throttle stick controls throttle as per normal. But I cant find which lever/switch etc is meant to operate the centre flap?
i am sure the setup is correct since the left flap trim switch (upper left of the transmitter) appears to adjust the flap position, but its only a trim.

any ideas or can you point me in the right direction?

mike

Think of a 9303 with a digital throtle (Spoiler) trim. Newest version has a backlit screen. Available in Mode 1, or 2
Hope this helps, -Snuts-

This is worth printing out. I did, and it really helps with glider programing. Note how he referres to channel (port) number rather than traditional (acro) port labeling (name)
Although it is based on Mode 2, a simple translation to Mode 1. All the functions, and names are the same, just physically reconfigured.
Hope this helps, aswell. -Snuts-
