OK,Maybe you guys can give me a rating. How effective would this slope be for, well, sloping? :rolleyes:

The line on the map line is more or less in the direction of the prevailing winds (up the slope, obviously).

Here is a satellite view of the field.zooming in you should be able to find the 'pit area' (such as it is).

cant see how steep it is or whats in front mate.........

Click on profile.pdf to see a graph with stats. Steepness is a 6% grade (6 foot rise for every 100 feet traveled) From the top of the hill to the bottom is around 600 feet. As it is an abandoned landfill the only thing is grass all the way to the creek at the bottom. The top of the slope is at the far end of the runway from the pit area. Most of this is visible on the satellite view, which can be zoomed in and out and moved as necessary.
