Ather 3.7m electric

I have seen a bit of chat on another forum regarding the hobbyking ather 3.7. Anyone on rcuniverse got one yet or know anything about it?

I've ordered one but it's still on the slow boat from China.

Only what I have been reading on that other forum. Looks like it could be a real bargain but we won't know till they start getting them into the air. But I am optimistic. Wing loading looks reasonable. Drela airfoil and Wood D box on the center panel is what people are reporting. Reports are that build quality looks pretty good.

Might not be the top competitive glider for ALES contests but it could be a real low cost entry into to large thermal gliders.

Reports are starting to come in. Build quality looks pretty good though there have been some reports of parts missing.

First flight reports seem very encouraging.
