what brand of glider is this, won in raffle

I won this glider in a raffle last night at the Torrey Pine Gulls Holiday party (ready to fly). No one I talked to knew the models name or who made it. It has elevator, rudder, ailerons, and flaps (if that is what the mid-wing air brakes are called). She measures in at just over 8 feet.
My only experience with gliders has been a Dymond Flipper, E-powered Dymond Raven, and a Zagi THL. I fly lots of electrics.

I searched Dymond RC and NE Sailplanes, but I didn't find a glider that matched.

Thanks,
Matt

I contacted someone that has a plane that looks like this one. Hopefully he'll be in touch.

Hi
It resembles an ARTF sold in the UK a couple of years ago...WMP Primera...??

Thanks for the information.
I searched for WMP planes on google and I did find a match for the Primera and one other model. Unfortunately neither web page had a picture.
I don't really have to know what it is, but I am curious.

Here are a few more pictures of the nose section that might help with its identification. The quality of the wood work looks much better than cheap stuff I normally see.

Don't know what the name is, but that vertical servo platform acting as a major structural element is giving me ideas for my next design. (now why didn't I think of that?) That does look like some nice workmanship.

Can't recall the names. Seen both a sailplane version and an electric version. Tow or three of them are flown locally. Good flying sailplane. Does like to curise a bit fast though.

By the way those mid wing air brakes are called spoilers.

Just found out what it may be. Optima Pro 100. Hobby Shack was importing them. If you don't want it I'll trade you a 2 meter Gnome or Paragon kit for it.

It is starting to make sense. I searched for Optima Pro 100 and found a listing for a Optima Electro 2.5M ARF Glider at newcreations-rc.com. Their page says the manufacturer is Primera. That backs up what FlyAcroWots said. I didn't realize Primera was a manufacturer. I thought that was the model name. I will do some deep google searching this weekend and see what I can come up with.
Spoilers! Of course. I dial up both of my ailerons on my Blue Raven to create spoilerons for landing. I should have caught the relation.
Thanks to all. If I figure it out, I will post my findings.

It doesn't appear to be the WMP Optima 100 or the Primera. I found a review of the WMP Optima 100 on the S&E web page [link=http://www.retail-leaders.com/reviews/220030sem.htm]http://www.retail-leaders.com/reviews/220030sem.htm[/link]
The article describes the Optima 100 as a " two-function -rudder and elevator -glider. It features a bolt-on, three- piece wing with a flat center-section and dihedral built-in tip panels. " My mystery glider has ailerons, rudder, elevator, and spoilers. The article mentions the Primera model is the smaller brother of the Optima 100 so I am gussing it also only has rudder elevator control.
Here is a picture of the Optima 100.

I will keep searching.

Okay SoCal GliderGuider..... I do need to switch over the receiver and go fly it.
I finally was able to find a picture of a Optima PRO 100. THat is her.
I found the picture at [link=http://www.nmia.com/~tandberg/LinkedPages/DansSailplanes/DansSailplanes01.htm]http://www.nmia.com/~tandberg/LinkedPages/DansSailplanes/DansSailplanes01.htm[/link]
I also discovered that WMP stands for World Micro Planes.
Thanks,
Matt

We expect a full report after your first day of flying. Remember this plane likes to fly a bit fast.

I finally got a chance to get her in the air. Besides putting a 50MHz receiver in it, I had to replace a gear in the spoiler servo. The wind was very light on the Poway ridge (San Diego) so I flew my Zagi THL until it picked up. I got a few minutes on the Optima before the wind went back down. She was much easier to land than I thought. About a hour later the wind had changed directions and was from east.
Here is a video of her maiden flight (with me at least).

Thanks again to those that helped me identify the model and make.
