Default Main Shaft Spacer Question

I am building a Trex550e v2. Is the main shaft spacer required? When the main shaft has the main gear installed there is zero playup and down. I dont even think the spacer would fit.

Default RE: Main Shaft Spacer Question

Hey Bro
Just try it. If the bolt does not line up to get the bolt through ...Also itmight pull the gear up in a better position on the pinion. Did you substitute a part?
Best wishes for the New Year and heli flying

I will give it a try. I have not substituted any part. It has 2 spacers. The .3 and a .5. Do you recommend just getting any of those in there?  Happy new year to you too!  I can't get this heli built fast enough!
